Acyanotic - there is still oxygenated blood being delivered to other parts of the body from the heart....
- the circulating the venous system is partially oxyganted and partially unoxygenated
- shunting of oxygenated blood from the left side of the heart to the right side. It causes the heart to function as an ineffective pump and make children prone to CHONGESTIVE HEART FAILURE
